If we just have to have it all then we can go with the complete backpack surveillance system. This setup has everything we might need including the camera, dvr (digital video recorder), and battery charger, cables and power packs. It runs just over $800 but it has the ability to play back what you record at that very moment after you capture it on film. Quite amazing actually! It is well worth the money if you can swing it. If not, the regular backpack hidden camera will do just fine.
Both the backpack hidden camera and the back pack surveillance system come with a black and white “X-Vision” option (.003 LUX). This is known as “LUX” and is basically the measurement of low light necessary in order for the camera to record and be able to reproduce an image. Obviously, the lower the light necessary, the better that particular camera will function in low light conditions. It is just fine to have a camera with 1 LUX or even better with .05 LUX. But if low-light conditions are a possibility – then go ahead and get the X-Vision which will operate amazingly well at .003 LUX!
If you truly want to be serious about covert operations, than the back pack spy camera is what you’re looking for. It contains everything you’re going to need in order to plan out, execute and successfully complete a successful operation.
